Cows + fire = true ›

In a unique study, Nordens Ark has shown that cattle prefer to graze where there has been a recent fire. This has previously only been shown on other continents but never in the northern parts of Europe.

Ibises released into the wild! ›

Today the aviary in Spain was opened and our four northern bald ibis were released into the wild together with a group of others. The work to save the northern bald ibis in the area has been very successful and today there is a large, healthy colony in the area.
