By becoming an adopter of an animal at Nordens Ark, you help us in our work to preserve endangered species.

What does it mean to be an animal adopter?

Your support contributesto the costs of caring for the animal, including food, veterinary care and enclosure maintenance. It also enables us to work with reintroductions of species into the wild and the restoration of habitats, both in Sweden and around the world.

Choose from a range of different animals – the one that’s closest to your heart!

Adopting an animal lasts for one year at a time, and everyone is welcome to join. Together, we can make a big difference! ❤️

How it works

1. Choose an animal

Start by filling out the form and selecting your preferred animal. There are ten options to choose from.

2. Enter your details

Provide your preferred amount, payment method, and personal details. You can pay annually or via direct debit—whichever suits you best!

3. That’s it—welcome to the adopter family!

Once we’ve received your payment, your adoption is active. You’ll receive a welcome email with a certificate and information about your adoption.

Adopters' Day November 29 2025

We warmly welcome all our adopters to a special day at Nordens Ark! Saturday, November 29th, is not only our annual Christmas market, but also this year's Adopters' Day.
