Christmas Market November 30

Welcome to an atmospheric Christmas market in historic surroundings. Take the opportunity and take part in the  special atmosphere in and around the old buildings on the beautiful Åby manor grounds. You'll find handicrafts in wool, leather, knitted, felt and Christmas decorations, jewellery, honey products, ceramics and other goodies that belong to Christmas such as jam, mulled wine, bread, cheese, mustard, marzipan and much more.

Around 50 exhibitors participate and the day is filled with activities for the whole family:

The choir Gospel of Joy spreads the Christmas spirit with their beautiful song, the Nordic Watercolour Museum are holding a painting workshop, the Vitlycke Museum and the Bohuslän museum offer activities for children of all ages. Of course, both Santa and Mrs. Santa are at Nordens Ark for this occasion. And why not buy a raffle ticket in our lottery booth - maybe you'll be lucky enough to take home a nice prize!

Should you get hungry, we have a food tent where you can buy freshly baked flatbreads and grilled food.

There is a shop, restaurant and café in the area. Entry to the market is free, if you want to visit the animals in the park, regular entry applies.
